Optional: Timer to keep track of time for each participant’s turn.

Preparation

Prepare the room/space so that it is as spacious as it can be, without obstacles.

Step by step description

Introduction:
1. Ask participants to gather in a circle or designated area.
2. Introduce the concept of “True – False – Likely. Explain that each participant will make three statements about themselves: one true, one false, and one verisimilar. Clarify that the objective is to guess which statement is true, false, and verisimilar through questioning. Encourage respectful and supportive questioning. Explain the importance of active listening.

Participant’s Turn:
3. Choose the First Participant: Invite the first participant to stand or sit in the centre of the circle.
4. Ask the participant to make three statements about themselves: One true statement. One false statement. One verisimilar statement.
5. Open the Floor for Questions: Allow the other participants to ask questions to the person in the centre to gather more information about the statements.
6. Facilitate the Questioning: Encourage participants to ask open-ended questions.

Guesses:
7. After the questioning phase, ask participants to privately guess which statement they believe is true, false, and likely.
8. Collect Guesses: Have participants write down their guesses or share them verbally.
9. Ask the participant in the centre to reveal the truth behind each statement.
10. Award Points (optional).

Rotate to next Participant:
11. Invite the next participant to take their turn, following steps 5-11.

Closing up

Conclude the activity by thanking the participants for their participation.
Optional: Open the floor for a brief discussion or reflection on the experience. You can open it with the question:
